Teaching and Learning English for Career Development
24-26 April, 2008 The following sub-themes will be covered: Conference Sub-Themes:

- Teaching and learning materials and resources
- ICT in ELT and teacher professional development
- Monitoring and assessment of the English language acquisition
- Professional development issues
The conference is aimed at researchers, trainers, tutors, teacher trainers, and teachers. It should be of interest to representatives from all educational sectors: primary, secondary, tertiary, vocational. . The conference offers a platform to share visions for the future of language learning and to learn about relevant research results and their implications. Examples of existing good practice will also be presented. In addition to keynote sessions, talks, workshops and discussions there will be ample opportunities for networking on an informal level. Speakers and participants will have the chance to share information, meet new contacts and take home insights and ideas to implement into their working context.
